May is such a special time of year isn't it? A return to longer, warmer days. The promise of more vitamin N (nature!), BBQs, park life & long walks.
In classes we will be working with the navel chakra, Manipura. This energy meridian has 72,000 nerve endings. It is the powerhouse for immunity, digestion & therefore, vitality. An imbalance here may mean low self esteem, poor overall health, digestion issues & lack of motivation. On the other hand, a balanced navel centre will have us stepping into our power, owning our decisions, increased self confidence & self worth.
We will see a return of the sun salutations and yoga poses such as stretch pose (sorry - it's good for you!), seed, bow, boat & plank, pose.
With kriyas to boost vitality such as nahbi, sahibi & revitalising the self.
Meditations to recalibrate, trancsend & transform the self.
Mantras such as Sat Nam, Jaap Sahib & Sita Ram.
