Hi Everyone, 👋🏻

Just thought I would introduce myself again as it’s been a while 💕

I’m Sarah and I’m a holistic therapist based in Hornchurch, Essex.

I offer Swedish / Deep Tissue Massage and have passed my Level 3 qualification with VTCT in Body Massage as well as doing other various training. I also offer Reiki & Meditation.

I started my business in 2019 and recently closed for a while due to having my daughter Ava who is now 4 and is now at school! So I thought this was the perfect time to re-open and get back to doing what I love! ❤️

I’ve spent years perfecting a sanctuary in my garden studio to provide a calming space for clients to be able to finally switch off, relax and feel re-balanced! ✨

I’m a firm believer that looking after your body and energy shouldn’t been seen as a treat or luxury - I feel it is an essential tool for your long-term wellbeing 👌🏻

HOW TO LAYER YOUR SKINCARE ✨✨

When you have identified your skin type and purchased the correct products, it’s important to know in what order to use them in! 💫💫

⚪️ Pre-Cleanse

The first cleanse should be done to remove any make up/sebum/skin debris from the skin’s surface to leave it thoroughly clean!

⚪️ Second cleanse

This should be done with the correct cleanser for your particular skin type and will be a deeper clean to nourish and hydrate the skin 🧴🧴

🟡 Serum

There are a variety of different serums for different skin concerns and I will do a separate post on this!

🟣 Toner

They should be used after any serums or moisturisers and will hydrate after removing any make up and cleansing to prepare for moisturising ✨✨

🟢 Moisturise

Again using the correct moisturiser for your skin concerns to help soften & hydrate 💦💦

🟤 SPF (Sun Protection Factor)

SPF should be worn every day, even when it’s cloudy! ☁️

You can still burn and they should become a part of your daily routine! Make it your best friend! 💕

Exfoliation and Masques can be done one to two times a week and are not needed everyday. ✔️

Dirty makeup brushes can collect oil & dirt and are a breeding ground for bacteria! 🦠

And as a result you could suffer from breakouts / rashes or infections!

To ensure you kill any bacteria and protect your skin the recommendation is to wash your makeup brushes every week with a suitable brush cleaner or clarifying shampoo. 🧴🧴

If you notice any breakouts or irritation maybe this could be a cause! ✨✨

Once you know your skin type you can then find the products ideal for your skin that will help any concerns. ✨✨

If you are suffering from hypersensitive, dehydrated, red or irritated skin then this is the range for you. (I personally use it and would not be without it now 🙌🏻)

The products soothe, calm and help replenish the skin and the range does not contain any essential oils or fragrance. 🧴🧴

There are so many brands and products out there at the moment that I feel it can become confusing as to what products you should use for your skin! 🧴🧴

If you don’t currently know your skin type, have a look at the picture so you can work out which type you have (if it’s something you are struggling with then it’s best to see a professional to advise) 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Once you have worked out the type of skin you have, you can then find the right products that will be best suited and give you the results you want! ✨✨

My Story

My passion in life has always been to help others, however I hadn't figured out a way that I could incorporate this into my career. In the past I have suffered with stress and just a feeling of being off balance.

This lead me on a journey to find a treatment that would help me to relax. During this time a friend recommended that I should try Reiki {Energy Healing} and I was curious to find out more, as I hadn’t heard of this treatment before.

After a few sessions of Reiki, I had already noticed the benefits to my emotional well being and found it was having such a transforming and positive effect on my life. This led me to study and learn how to perform Reiki on others. I am now a qualified Holistic Therapist and and a member of the Guild of Holistic Therapists.

In 2019 I opened Spiritualis Ltd and created a treatment room in my home based in Hornchurch, Essex and I truly feel that I had found my vocation in life. I am so happy I am able to help my clients with their well being.
