The post I’ve been putting off…
It’s finally time to say it out loud - sadly I’ve decided to close the doors on Retreat Petite after nearly 10 wonderful years!
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank every single past customer for choosing me and to SO many of you for coming back with babies 2, 3 and 4- wow what a compliment!
I’ve loved watching you all blossom as parents and build amazing mum friendships along the way! Good friends are one of the most fundamental ways to stay sane during this crazy rollercoaster of parenting and I’m so proud I’ve helped bring so many of you together!
I’ve enjoyed so many experiences from private sessions with very prem and/or poorly babies, contracts with children’s centres, courses with foster carers for babies in the care system to my weekly massage and hug in a mug sessions within Thurrock- it’s been such an amazing journey.
Thank you all I’ve loved meeting you all and introducing you to baby massage- wishing you all only the best for the future - lots of love always Cat 💟

Undoubtedly one of the best parts of being a mother! Cuddles for days!!!

When we cuddle for at least 6 seconds the body produces serotonin and oxytocin which means our bodies reduce in stress, decrease in physical pain and has a surge of love- this works both ways but especially true for babies as being cuddled (and massaged!) helps with baby’s social, emotional and physical development 💟

This one got me 😭

It’s so true isn’t it- they look at us a way that is reserved only for us. Their eyes light up and their smile stretches from ear to ear. We never thought just by being us could provoke that level of reaction in someone 💟 Thank you Rachel and Penelope for joining my last course I’ve absolutely loved meeting you both!
