It may have felt like winter today… but the park is quietly coming back to life 🌿

I can already feel those warmer days on their way… stretching out on the grass, breathing it all in, moving gently under open skies, gazing up at the trees, listening to the birds 🌳

There’s something pretty magical about yoga in the park… that beautiful mix of turning inwards while feeling completely connected to everything around you.

It’s not just a class… it’s a whole mood. And I cannot wait to share it with you ✨

7 years ago today I made a brave (and slightly bonkers!) decision to leave my city job and follow my heart ✨

Now I get to spend my days with the most wonderful clients & students (who are basically friends)… laughing, stretching, and occasionally wobbling through life together.

So incredibly grateful for every single one of you 💛

Happy Spring Equinox… more light, more warmth… and yes, summer is coming! 🌿☀️

🌷YOGA THIS WEEK 🌷

This week’s classes land right between the New Moon and the Spring Equinox… a really special liminal space, where everything softens, balances and begins again.

We’ll be slowing things down & finding our inner light… There will be a lovely sun breath practice (breathing light into the body) and space to rest, reset and reconnect.

Perfect if you’re feeling a little tired, full, or just in need of a moment for yourself 💛

Such a special weekend on our Wells-next-the-Sea Yoga Retreat…

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful local businesses who help make these weekends so nourishing and memorable for our guests.

Wells Maltings for sharing your beautiful yoga studio space with us.
Bang in Wells for those delicious breakfasts that set us up for the day.
The Globe at Wells for looking after us so beautifully with breakfasts and dinners.
Norfolk Natural Living for the gorgeous hand creams in our goody bags.

And a special mention to The Hollies for their beautiful accommodation, which helps make the retreat experience so comfortable and welcoming for our guests.

And a little wave to Ivy Cottage too — it’s true, we now hold three retreats a year in Wells-next-the-Sea, and we’d love to collaborate with more local businesses for our 2027 retreats.

“I came to yoga just hoping for a stretch… and ended up with so much more.”

Now I sleep better, my body feels relaxed, and my mind is calmer and clearer.

It’s such a gentle, welcoming class — no pressure, no need to be flexible, just moving, breathing and leaving feeling like a different person.

✨ 7 years of teaching yoga ✨

Today I’m feeling deeply grateful as I reflect on 7 years of sharing yoga.

Not the bendy, pretzel-shape version…
but the kind that meets people where they are. The kind that says you belong here, exactly as you are.

Training with Padma and especially Kristine from Subtle Yoga changed everything for me.

It opened a doorway into yoga that is inclusive, compassionate, and truly accessible — for older bodies, healing bodies, tired bodies, real bodies.

It shaped how I teach, how I see people, and how I hold space.

Seven years on, I’m still in awe that this is what I get to do: helping people breathe easier, move gently, rest deeply, and feel at home in themselves.

To every student who has trusted me, every teacher who has guided me, and every moment on the mat… thank you.

Here’s to many more years of gentle, powerful, Subtle Yoga. 🤍

I spent the day immersed in Fascia Flow — Awakening the Feminine Vessel
a beautiful journey through sound, breath and intuitive wisdom.

There’s something profoundly powerful about slowing down enough to feel…
to listen…
to soften…

Fascia holds our stories, our protection, our patterns —
and when it begins to release, there’s often a quiet remembering of wholeness underneath.

So grateful to share gentle fascia release with such a gorgeous group of humans 💛
connection, curiosity, deep rest… and yes, excellent cake too 🍰

TicTacs Misleading or Lies?

It’s so easy to trust the big words on the front of a packets of food. “Low”, “free”, “healthy”, “natural”… they sound reassuring.

But the real story is always on the back.

Take Tic Tacs for example. They can say “0g sugar” — yet they’re about 95% sugar by weight. It’s simply because each mint is tiny enough for the sugar to round down to zero.

That’s misleading & deceitful but technically allowed — and this kind of labelling deserves to be called out.
