This coming Monday 10th Oct is World Mental Heath day.

For 1 in 15 of us the shortening days upon us could mean the return of Seasonal Affective Disorder.

It is thought that the lack of sunlight causes chemical changes in our brains relating to serotonin and melatonin (a sleep hormone).

Get plenty of outdoor time to maximise sunlight exposure and keep in regular contact with friends and family. Take a look at Mental Health Mates - Hornsea.

Our drop-in flu clinic continues this Friday and Saturday after another busy day, including for those 'at risk*' and aged 65+! Get yours today!

We have availability for walk-in vaccination without appointment as long as stocks last, including for those aged 65 years and over.

Anyone on our list will be contacted by the end of play tomorrow.
