We’re coming up to a Full Moon this Sunday (1 Feb), a beautiful point of completion. Full moons tend to shine a light on what’s been brewing under the surface… and your body/mind will often tell the truth first. 
So if you’ve noticed:
• reoccurring thoughts about a certain situation
• feeling more reactive / emotional / “on edge”
• a new pain… or an old pain resurfacing
…please know this: if something is coming up in your body or your mind, it’s asking for your attention. Not to punish you, to be felt, listened to, and processed.
And this is especially potent right now because we’re moving towards February’s New Moon (17 Feb), a fresh chapter moment. The work now is about releasing what you’re ready to outgrow, so you’re not carrying old identities and beliefs into the next cycle. 
Here’s a very simple process I use to start shifting pain and emotions (10–15 minutes).

Full Moon Release Practice (10–15 mins)
1) Settle
Sit/lie somewhere you won’t be interrupted. Close your eyes.
Bring your awareness to your breath, just noticing it flowing in and out.
2) Find the “where”
Now scan your body slowly and ask:
“Where am I holding this?”
You might notice a tight chest, a lump in the throat, a clenched jaw, heaviness in the belly… or a specific painful spot.
Place one hand there (or imagine your hand there if it’s tender).
3) Name it (without judging it)
Quietly label what you’re noticing, as simply as possible:
• For pain: “tight / sharp / burning / heavy / pulling…”
• For emotion: “sad / angry / anxious / overwhelmed / stuck…”
Then rate it 0–10 (0 = nothing, 10 = intense).
4) Let it speak (this is the key)
Ask gently (and wait for the first honest answer):
• “What do you want me to know?”
• “What are you protecting me from?”
• “When have I felt this before?”
No forcing. No digging. Just listening.
5) EFT tapping to start shifting (2–5 mins)
Using two fingers, tap lightly through these points (about 6–8 taps each), while repeating what’s true:
Karate chop point (side of hand) Setup phrase (say 3 times):
“Even though I’m feeling [this pain/emotion] in my [body area], I’m open to giving myself what I need right now.”
Then tap through:
• Eyebrow: “This [pain/emotion]…”
• Side of eye: “It’s been coming up a lot…”
• Under eye: “My body is trying to get my attention…”
• Under nose: “I’m listening now…”
• Chin: “I don’t have to fight this…”
• Collarbone: “I can soften around it…”
• Under arm: “It’s safe to feel this in small pieces…”
• Top of head: “I’m open to release.”
Take a breath. Re-rate 0–10.
If it’s still high, do one more round, but shift the language to:
“I’m allowed to let some of this go.”
6) Close the loop (1–2 mins)
Place a hand on your heart (or wherever feels supportive) and say:
• “Thank you for trying to protect me.”
• “I’m here now.”
• “What do you need from me next — rest, water, movement, truth, support?”
Then write one sentence to anchor it:
“What I’m releasing this Full Moon is…”
“What I’m choosing to step into by the New Moon is…”
