Lately, I’ve been feeling like I’m rushing…
Rushing to make everything work.
Rushing to get results.
Rushing to figure it all out; the money, the energy, the next steps.
And underneath that rushing, there’s been fear.
Fear that if I don’t keep pushing, everything will fall apart.
Fear that I’m not doing enough.
Fear that maybe it’s not going to work out.
But as we shift into this winter season, I’ve been reminded of something:
Nature is slowing down. The light is fading. Everything is pulling inward.
And we’re meant to slow down too.
But that’s not always easy, especially when our nervous systems are used to stress and pressure and constant doing.
So I’m choosing to do something gentle.
I’ve created a 7 day energetic grounding practice, not to force manifestations, not to hustle harder, but to help my body feel safe, held, and open again.
Because alignment and abundance don’t come from panic, they come from presence.
They come when we create enough stillness to receive.
If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like nothing is moving fast enough… this is your reminder that you don’t have to fix it all today.
You are allowed to rest.
You are allowed to trust.
You are allowed to create from a place of calm.
Below is the EFT tapping sequence I’m doing right now to help settle the urgency and reconnect to trust. You’re welcome to try it too.
EFT Sequence – Releasing Rushing & Returning to Calm Receiving
Theme: Letting go of fear driven hustle and softening into seasonal rest, trust, and support.
Setup (tap side of hand – 3x)
“Even though I’ve been rushing and pushing from fear, I deeply and completely love and accept myself.”
“Even though it’s hard to slow down, I honour the part of me that wants to feel safe.”
“Even though I’m afraid I’ll lose momentum if I stop, I’m open to trusting a gentler rhythm.”
Round 1 — Releasing urgency
Eyebrow:
I’ve been rushing to keep everything going.
Side of Eye:
I’m scared of what will happen if I slow down.
Under Eye:
This pressure lives deep in my body.
Under Nose:
It feels like I can’t stop or rest.
Chin:
But it’s so exhausting to always be “on.”
Collarbone:
I acknowledge how hard I’ve been trying.
Under Arm:
I’m holding fear, but I’m also holding love.
Top of Head:
I give myself permission to slow down now.
Round 2 — Inviting seasonal calm and trust
Eyebrow:
Nature is slowing down, and so can I.
Side of Eye:
It’s safe to rest. It’s safe to receive.
Under Eye:
I don’t have to do more to deserve abundance.
Under Nose:
I am safe to pause without falling behind.
Chin:
Trust can grow in stillness.
Collarbone:
I let my body soften into this new season.
Under Arm:
I am allowed to feel safe, supported, and provided for.
Top of Head:
I choose to receive in a calmer, more grounded way.
