We are expecting delivery of vaccines shortly .As per NHS guidelines we will be able to start the service from 1st October 2025.
This will be at the pharmacy in Horsford.
As soon as vaccines are in stock we will be able to take bookings for both private and all eligible NHS groups . Walk ins will be available too.

⏳ Repeat Prescription Reminder ⏳

Dear Patients,

We kindly ask that you allow sufficient time for your repeat prescriptions to be processed and made ready for collection: The surgery requires up to 3 working days to process your prescription request and the Pharmacy needs additional time to complete the process to ensure that your prescription is ready to collect.

📱 Also, please note:

“Approved” on the NHS app does not mean your prescription is ready for collection. It means your prescription has been either sent to your chosen Pharmacy or to St Faiths Dispensary to be fulfilled.

Once the prescription has been approved, extra time is needed by the Pharmacy or Dispensary to complete the process.

We understand that urgent situations arise, and we will always do our best to help when needed.

Every month, the 111 phone line receives many calls over forgotten prescriptions, especially around bank holidays, putting NHS services under increased pressure.

Please put your repeat prescription in and give your time to dispense your medicine.

Please note we are open for business as normal despite all the road closures and lights . The council and local councillors have been contacted regarding the latest issue with the traffic lights but please can we ask you not to park on Pyehurn Lane as this is causing problems for patients and deliveries. Highways have put bollards in place but these are being ignored. We have also asked for “businesses open as normal “signs to be put out on routes into the village .

On top of the road closure the council have now put three way traffic lights at the junction of Pyehurn Lane with the Holt Road and Mill Lane . Could we ask the person who this car belongs to to please move it as it is going to cause an obstruction to patients and delivery vehicles needing access to the pharmacy and GP surgery . Thankyou .

Please note Pledger Pharmacy is open as usual.Access is from the NDR and Brewery Lane direction as normal . There is footpath access coming from the Felthorpe side of the closure so still access if on foot .

🚧 Important Notice: Road Works Affecting Horsford Surgery (23rd July – 12th August) 🚧

There will be possible delays in reaching Horsford Surgery from the 23rd July to the 12th August. However, it may continue to be closed/restricted until 23rd September.

This will affect the B1149 Holt Road from its junction with Mill Lane to its junction with St Helena Way.

The road will be temporarily closed (it will be open for Pedestrian Access) to facilitate sewer connection works.

Patients will not be able to access the Surgery if coming from the Hevingham/Felthorpe area. You will only have access from the end of Holt Road.

The recommended alternative route is stated on the Horsford Parish Council page.
Any patients coming from the closed side of Horsford, please follow the Diversion signs.

How This Affects You:

📅 Appointments: Please visit Horsford Surgery only for pre-booked appointments to minimise disruption and allow plenty of time to get to your appointment.
📱 Queries: Please use our online services (NHS App or our website) and select the relevant option.
🏥 Alternative Locations: Our Horsham St. Faiths and Drayton branches are open as usual.
