Positive working relationships 👇

Here at Prestige, we are proud to have positive working relationships with many companies, schemes and local authorities.

Here pictured, is one of our team Callum working alongside the team at Crawley Town Centre BID. We are pleased to be providing our services to them in a bid (pun intended) to help combat crime and anti social behaviour in Crawley Town.

Great work team! 👏🏻👏🏻

Party for Lexi
Over the last week Ian Parsons at Gemini entertainment got in touch with Carrie and asked if Lexi would like to have a party before her treatment started. Of course the free spirit that Lexi is, would never turn down a chance to have fun with friends.

In just one week, Carrie has been busy organising and securing a venue. With huge thanks to The Roffey Social club lending space to Lexi, her friends and family to have a party.

During this week, we have reached out to hundreds of people for support to give Lexi a party she will remember.

We would like to thank the following businesses, individuals, friends and trusts for there unwavering support. We are so grateful to call most of you family and friends.

Sarah Pattenden for taking pictures before and during the party if Lexi, her family and friends. Something that will no doubt, be a special memory for a long time.

Lisa Strevens at the Storrington card shop, kindly provided fun and colourful balloons.

Lynn Brandon at Emma’s bubble trust got in touch and generously bought face paints, sponges and tattoos. Please do visit this trust to see what support they give to children with cancer.

Katie Leteve, donated £25 towards more Face Paints for the further events planned in the near future! Keep the 10th September free!

Jayne Voice donated a balloon arch and helped me (Laura) do face paints.

Not only did Carrie organise the party, she generously donated all party food for the children and made sweet cones with sweets kindly donated by the Co-op in Roffey, for the children to take home.

Jo Symonds made memorable stickers for the sweet cones.

When buying the cake for Lexi, it was an easy choice, the most colourful, bright and fun cake I could find to match her bright, free-spirited soul.

Lexi, you have made everyone of your friends, family and community proud. We hope you had a wonderful party celebrating with your friends and family. We are all supporting you throughout your journey and will be ready to party again when you are able.

Sending lots of love and light to the family.

Emma was an ordinary, fun loving teenager who was tragically struck down by cancer just days after her 16th birthday. This section remembers the many highlights of Emma’s all too short life.

It is with heart ache that this page has been set up to try and support a family in our community who has received the news nobody wants to hear, ‘your child has a brain tumour...’

Belinda and Luke Bryant are parents to Callum and Lexi who both attend Leechpool Primary School. Sadly, on the 6th June Lexi had been rushed to hospital after falling so unwell, where they diagnosed a brain tumour that is fast spreading down her spinal column. On the 30th June another tumour was found at the base of the spine. During this time she had a shunt fitted to relieve the pressure on her brain. Whilst this may come as a shock to those who know her and the family, they have all been living with this nightmare for some months now.

Since April, Lexi had become unwell, being sick to, from and at school, with no explanation. Whilst the doctors initially thought she had a stomach bug, she in fact was developing a tumour that was quickly growing. During these months, Lexi’s mum who does not drive, was having to leave work and even stop working entirely, to pick Lexi up from school and on many occasions keep her off for long periods of time. Since May, Belinda has stopped working altogether being with Lexi all the time, meaning Luke is now the only provider for the family, whilst driving Lexi and her mum to and from St. George’s hospital. On the doctors advise, when well she continued going to school until Lexi became so unwell she was rushed back to St. Georges where they finally began more in depth tests. Biopsies were taken and then a long wait until the 8th July to finally here the news, the tumour were cancerous.

At this moment in time, Lexi’s prognosis is unknown and we will endeavour to update this page with the news of how Lexi is doing as often as possible. She is expecting to go to the Royal Marsden in London on Tuesday to find out more information about treatment options and confirm the diagnosis.

As you can imagine, the financial strain this has put on this family is immense. Times are tough anyway but now with the added cost of travelling to London, Belinda no longer working, and Luke doing shifts at the airport wherever he can, we wanted to try and relieve some of that pressure to ensure the whole family has a meal and home to go back to. This family needs our help now more than ever. Please if you can, any donation would mean the world to each of them right now. They are scared they might lose their child, please help us help them to keep their home and car so that Luke can keep working and visiting/taking Lexi to and from hospital. Your money might even stretch to making the best memories with Lexi. Belinda and Luke are fully aware that time might be running out for Lexi, so please please help this beautiful family. They so deserve our help.

On behalf of the family, thank you for reading this, we are so grateful for any support you can give.
