All classes and soundbaths are currently cancelled! I broke my wrist and ankle during the holiday season. I am available for long distance Reiki Healing as from next Monday, I am attuned to Reiki Master level. Please ask if you would like to read some testimonials and to discuss how reiki may be able to support your healing journey 🙏

I Love this. Just in perfect time as today Im introducing the teaching of the 5 Kleshas in my yoga classes this week. The fifth klesha is the fear of death, which really is everyone's (most people) unspoken fear, including the ego mind.

My yoga classes last and this week are focused on the hips, which may be you know they can hold, retain some of our heavier emotions, fear, grief, loss, that fight or flight that got trapped in the fascia. The constricted tightness from just not trusting life enough to let go. (When were we ever taught to trust life). And So! Tears may follow as we release so much that we hold on to. (I have no issue with crying, I welcome the release). But if you've been feeling a need to let go of the old or feeling strong emotions, I believe there is a purging right now, a re-surfacing of old, stuck energy and programme loops that are asking to be seen and released.......your body is always talking to you and your body is always listening to your thoughts. (So talk kindly to it). And your best antidote right now, always and forever, is nature. In the sunshine, amongst the trees, breathing in the cool, clean air of autumn. Just like fascia - everything is connected...

I never search for a lesson plan or theme for my yoga classes. They come to me every month and its intuitively led. Last month it was Equanimity - Samatvam, a fundamental principle in yoga philosophy. It's being able to hold an inner peace/stillness/neutrality even when the external world looks turbulent and chaotic, when your mind is making up stories and through the fluctuations of your emotions. I would say its a life time's work, but the external world is your training ground for self-mastery - a spiritual gymnasium if you like. How do we find this centre? Through 🧘‍♀️meditation, through breathwork, 🧘‍♀️through awareness, even through physical practice. We become familiar with what stillness, neutrality feels like, where it's located and how to anchor in to it. This is the kind of thing I teach in my classes. My next theme is 😊REST and PLAY. 😊PLAY- Im putting on 🎪Circus Skills for 🤹‍♀️Adults on Tuesday night at the Hanover Centre in Brighton. And using playful transitions in asana practice. 🦥REST Soundbath and longer shavasana. Rest and play without using screens.
