If you’ve been experiencing a sore or dry mouth, and other causes have been ruled out, it could be worth taking a look at the ingredients in your toothpaste. 🪥

Sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) is a common ingredient that creates the foaming effect and that ‘clean’ feeling when brushing.

For some people, SLS can cause irritation, dryness, or even mouth ulcers.

If this sounds familiar, you might want to try an SLS-free toothpaste to see if it helps – just make sure it still contains 1450ppm fluoride to protect your teeth 💚.
