Explore the art and joy of arm balances in an accessible, intelligent, and fun way.

Through clear guidance and progressive exploration, we’ll work with body mechanics, weight shift, physics, and mindset to build confidence, resilience, and trust — on and off the mat!

This workshop is open to all levels. You do not need to be strong, flexible, or experienced in arm balancing to take part in this introduction event.

🧘‍♀️ What is your experience of Mysore-style practice at Iriness? 🧘‍♂️

Daisy was nervous about Mysore-style (teacher-assisted self-practice) at first, but after completing the Beginners Yoga Course and gaining a base
level of knowledge, she began to love it. She appreciates building her understanding continuously and being fully present — it’s her practice, her
focus, and the world seems to pause when she’s on the mat.

For Isla, Mysore allows her to work at her own pace, enter a deep zone, and carry what she learns into her daily life. The practice becomes a foundation she can take anywhere, making yoga a steady part of every day.

We’re happy to invite you to our upcoming BEGINNERS YOGA COURSE at Iriness Yoga & Wellbeing Horsham.

If you’re looking to establish healthy, joyful, methodic and supportive yoga practices, this course offers a grounded and accessible starting point.

We’ll explore the foundations of Ashtanga Yoga and Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, along with yogic breathing, meditation, and relaxation.

These practices can become a steady support in everyday life, helping you navigate both easeful and more challenging moments with greater awareness and balance. Taught by Senior yoga teacher Irina Pashkevich.

We’ve welcomed the new year with our first guided class and brunch this morning, and I am so grateful to everyone who came — sharing the practice, the stillness, and the quiet joy of being together.

For me, Iriness has always been about community: the warmth of being together, and the inward journey of exploring your inner self.

These two aspects do not contradict each other when guided by intention of depth, awareness, and kindness.

Our Story

ABOUT IRINESS YOGA & WELLBEING HORSHAM

Iriness Yoga & Wellbeing is the only dedicated Ashtanga Yoga studio in the Horsham district. We offer daily Ashtanga yoga classes (in-studio and online), which combine asana with pranayama, meditation and relaxation. Our classes are held in both Mysore (assisted self-practice) and guided styles. We welcome practitioners of all levels, from beginners to yoga teachers.

WORSHOPS & COURSES (studio & online)

We offer yoga beginners’ courses as well as themed workshops for beginners, improvers, yoga teachers and trainees. Our founder, Irina Pashkevich Bourdier, is a Senior yoga teacher and Teachers’ Trainer with Yoga Alliance Professionals and is accredited to teach yoga teachers.
