IMPORTANT UPDATE: Acteon Sopro Imaging Ends 31st March 2026
We are getting in touch to make sure you are fully supported ahead of an important change to Sopro Dental Imaging software.
Acteon has advised that Sopro Imaging will be taken offline at the end of March 2026. They have already started notifying customers but we want to personally reach out as we know contact details can change over time.
At this stage we simply need to understand whether you are still using Sopro Imaging and how you are using it. This helps us give you the right advice and make sure there is no disruption to your practice.
Could you please let us know which of the following best describes your setup:
1. You use Sopro Imaging as your main image database and you acquire and view x-rays directly within Sopro
2. You use Acteon/Sopro cameras, Acteon PSPIX, or sensors but acquire and view images through a separate practice management software such as ExaminePro, Dentally Vision, etc.
If you are using Sopro Imaging as your main image database it is important to be aware that once the Sopro server goes offline at the end of March, you may not be able to access to your x-ray records unless action is taken. In this case an upgrade to Acteon Imaging Suite (AIS) will be required to continue using the software.
There is also a temporary option to install Sopro Imaging Offline Version which does not require a licence. This will remain functional until the end of this year during which an upgrade to AIS will be necessary at some point.
