Our Garden Guardians session has been full of creativity and colour as we started designing interactive visual features for our FlutterBy Garden 🌸🦋

Using a mix of materials including mosaics and recycled bottle lids, we’ve been exploring different textures, patterns and ways to bring the space to life. It’s been great to see everyone getting involved, sharing ideas and creating something unique that will make the garden feel bright, engaging and welcoming 🎨✨

This is just the beginning of our journey. As we continue to develop the space, we’ll be looking at introducing plants that will enhance the environment and help support pollinators, making it not just beautiful but beneficial too 🌼🐝

We were so pleased to be supported by Horsham Art Society with a recent art project at our centre 🎨

Their creativity, ideas and guidance really inspired everyone involved, encouraging people to try new things and express themselves. The session was very interactive, and it was lovely to see how engaged and involved everyone was throughout.

Together, we created a beautiful decorative display featuring a vase with sticks, adorned with colourful baskets and eggs. It now brightens up our entrance and is a lovely piece for everyone to see as they come in.

🌍✨ Earth Day 2026 Our Power, Our Planet ✨🌍

This week in our Save Our Planet session, we celebrated Earth Day by learning all about this year’s theme “Our Power, Our Planet.” 💚

We talked about how even the smallest actions can make a big difference and how we all have the power to protect our world 🌱♻️

As always, we carried on with our recycling efforts, making sure we’re doing our bit to reduce waste and care for the environment 🌎💪

To finish the session, we got creative with some fun crafts 🎨✂️ and enjoyed games together 🎲😄 a perfect way to learn, laugh, and work as a team!

We were proud to join a recent community litter pick organised by Southwater Parish Council 🌿

It was fantastic to be part of such a positive community effort, with everyone getting involved, showing great spirit and taking real pride in the local area. There was a brilliant atmosphere throughout and it was clear how much everyone enjoyed working together for a shared cause.

It was also eye opening to see just how much litter was collected, showing how important these events really are.

We were delighted to host a fantastic carers afternoon, organised by Horsham Wellbeing Hub, with a real focus on promoting health and wellbeing 💚

There was something for everyone to enjoy and benefit from, including health MOT checks, advice and guidance, gentle stretching sessions and relaxing massages. There were also games and archery, bringing lots of fun and laughter to the afternoon.

It was wonderful to see carers taking some well deserved time for themselves, connecting with others and accessing support in such a welcoming and relaxed environment. It was also lovely to see some of the people we support getting involved alongside their families and carers, and thoroughly enjoying the afternoon together.

A big thank you to Horsham Wellbeing Hub for organising such a positive and uplifting event, and to everyone who came along and made it so special ✨

What a lovely time we had at our Easter Coffee Morning 🐣☕

It was brilliant to see so many of you there, enjoying a chat over tea, coffee and plenty of cake. Thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a warm and friendly morning.

A big thank you as well to everyone who supported us by taking part in the raffle and purchasing the items we’ve made. Your support truly means so much.

We’ve started planting seeds in our garden and are looking forward to seeing everything grow over the coming weeks 🌼

We’re currently looking for any donations to support the garden. If you have any spare seeds, plants both indoor and outdoor, pots, soil, garden tools, or decorations that you no longer need, we would really appreciate it 💚

It’s always great getting out into the fresh air at Maze Gardens. 🌿☀️

Our group enjoy working hard alongside the local community, helping with litter picking, clearing weeds and tidying up leaves to keep the space looking its best. There’s something really rewarding about being outdoors, staying active and seeing the difference everyone’s efforts can make.

With the sun shining and plenty of teamwork, it’s a fantastic way to spend time together while giving back to the community. 💚
