There was a time when gratitude felt impossible for
me. When it felt forced, and like I wasn't doing it right.

I had heard about the law of attraction, that like attracts like. And that what I could think I could tangibly have?
And the best way to start was by being grateful for what I already had.​

So, I started writing every morning in my journal 10 things that I was grateful for. And it felt good! But was it working?

Years later, it finally clicked. What I was doing was the act of acknowledging I was grateful. But what I wasn't doing was FEELING it.

THAT WAS IT! The feeling! Actually feeling it. So, to help me find that feeling, I found something in my life that I was truly grateful for. Something that I felt in my heart.
For me, I felt truly grateful for giving up smoking. That was something that meant so much to me, and I fully felt the gratitude.

Since then, I now get it :)

🤩Let me reintroduce myself and what I do here at Danni GT Coaching.

When I first started experiencing anxiety, I didn’t know what it was. I genuinely thought I was seriously ill. I was having constant physical symptoms that affected the way I thought, how I functioned, and eventually led to me taking time off work. At the time, that felt like such a failure.

I became adamant that I wasn’t going to feel that way anymore.

Day by day, I set myself small, tiny goals. Making a cup of tea, getting out of bed, getting dressed. These might sound ridiculous, but at that point I was completely wiped of energy and purpose.

That’s when I discovered mindfulness. I discovered breathing exercises. And I discovered the power of our thoughts.

I learned what it truly meant to work on my mindset, and that was it! I committed to creating a better life for myself. Not just to overcome anxiety, but to truly thrive.

I opened Danni GT Coaching to support women like myself; women who juggle many plates, put everyone else first, and live with the belief that they can’t achieve what they really want, either because they don’t feel worthy or capable of more than the reality they’re living in.

I offer a number of different services, and over the next week I’ll be sharing more details about each of them.

I am grateful for this life ☺️

Gratitude is something I’ve been working with for years now. And let me be honest. There are moments when I don’t feel grateful, and when I’m feeling down, I just want to throw a pity party 🥲😅

However, practising gratitude, doesn’t mean feeling grateful all the time. I feel all of my feelings, the food and bad (and right now I’ve been in a funk, so the bad outweigh the good!).
But having an awareness of gratitude reminds me, it’s not all that bad.
Actually, I’m doing ok!

Before clarity, many of the women I work with describe life like this:

🙃 Their mind is always busy.
🙃 Everything feels urgent.
🙃 They’re juggling work, family, responsibilities — and still feeling behind.
🙃 They second-guess decisions, push through exhaustion, and carry a quiet sense of guilt for not doing “enough.”

They’re not failing. They’re overwhelmed because there’s no clear prioritisation, just constant demand.

After clarity, something shifts. (It really does, I've been there just this weekend!)

So what happens?
😌 Their thoughts feel calmer and more organised.
😌 They know what matters now and what can wait.
😌 Decisions become simpler because they’re no longer reacting to everything at once.
😌 They feel more grounded, confident, and intentional with their time and energy.

This is the transformation I see again and again.

I help overwhelmed women who wear many hats move from mental overload to clarity: not by adding more, but by helping them prioritise what truly matters ☺️

Do you ever feel like you’re carrying everything? I mean, EVERYTHING.
Work. Family. Relationships. The mental load no one else sees.

You know you're capable, committed, and doing your best, yet still end most days feeling overwhelmed, scattered, or behind 😑 (Who's with me?)

This is something I see often with women who wear many hats.
And this isn't because they’re failing, but because they’re trying to prioritise everything at once. Everything sits at a 'high urgency, high importance'.

I help overwhelmed women who wear many hats find clarity and prioritise what truly matters, so life feels less reactive and more intentional. They go from feeling ready to throw it all in, to taking baby steps and makign progress on that to-do list.
