Yoga Art with Carolyn I am a Level 3 Certified Yoga Teacher and hold a CIMPSA Membership Let me introduce myself . . . That's when I started yoga! I felt alive! Namaste 🙏
Carolyn

My name is Carolyn and I've been practicing yoga for over 16 years now. When I was younger I used to be a competitive gymnast and have always been into fitness. I used to do alot of aerobics, running and swimming, but I found these tended to work the larger muscle groups and I wanted something that toned and lengthened my muscles as well as increase my flexibility. I could see my physical shape changing. My flexibility was improving and I was gaining alot of strength by lifting my own body weight. Not only that, I noticed a change in my mental health. I suffered from depression and anxiety, but once I got on my mat, all that disappeared. I felt relaxed, focused and confident, and my mood was greatly lifted. Yoga taught me to be present, to withdraw the senses and focus within. I have learnt to take what I practice on the mat into my everyday life. I am forever grateful for finding yoga and I hope you too can share this experience with me. Yoga is not just a physical aspect, it's a way of life!
