As a massage therapist with over 15 years of experience, I have never seen such a high level of misinformation and myth surrounding my profession than what I have been seeing recently.
So here is the real truth:
MASSAGE THERAPY IS NOT A QUICK FIX
Professional massage therapy is a partnership between the therapist and the customer. It is based on cooperation, connection, patience and precision.
Ever since the lockdowns in 2020 we’ve noticed that some customers may feel hesitant, or even defensive, when discussing their bodies during the intake process.
Please know that this information is confidential and essential for us to work together effectively and safely.
The intake form isn’t about judgment — it’s about understanding you and the treatment you require.
Your body, your mind and your lifestyle play a crucial role in how we approach your appointment. Without this context, we simply can’t deliver the results you're looking for— we are professionals, not magicians .
Now let’s get real about muscle health.
Your muscle health depends on more than just massages:
10% – Massage therapy
40% – Nutrition and movement
50% – Emotion and stress levels
A 1 hr deep tissue massage once in a while can’t be considered a professional treatment — it’s more of a treat.
If you think about it:
👉🏻 One workout won’t make you toned.
👉🏻 One healthy meal can’t erase years of poor nutrition.
👉🏻 One massage can’t undo years of chronic tension.
CONSISTENCY IS THE KEY
Healing is a process, not a quick fix.
If you’re ready to stop blaming others, and commit yourself to long-term results, we are here for you! 🔥
But let’s drop the “fix me” mindset.
Our health is the result of the actions we take. Attempting to simply escape from the pain can actually create even deeper levels of pain.
I’ve never promoted quick fixes — and I never will. Sometimes they simply don’t exist.
Your body is not a project, it’s a living ecosystem 🦠
I work with your anatomy and physiology — not with any false promises, or unrealistic expectations, that are often promoted on social media.
Instead of chasing a “new” body, try accepting the one you already have.
Your body is not your enemy — it is continuously trying to communicate its unfulfilled needs.
But many of us ignore this. Why? Because the mind has taken over, convinced it knows better than the body. This mind-body disconnection leads to poor body communication and, ultimately, imbalance and muscular pain.
Here’s another truth that therapists don’t often talk about:
👉🏻 You don't only book a massage when you feel in pain.
A massage is actually most effective after any inflammation has calmed down — when the body is ready to receive care, restore balance, and prevent future issues.
Our approach to massage therapy goes beyond muscles!
We focus on the entire mind-body system, including your nervous system. Pain isn’t just stored in your body, it’s created and processed in your brain.
Our massage therapy is anything but routine!
Every treatment is tailored to your current health needs — no 2 bodies are alike, and no 2 massages should be either.
We go beyond the surface, addressing underlying psychosomatic patterns, rather than just providing temporary relief.
We’re not here to rush your healing.
We take time for every client, creating a safe space for your body to unwind at its own pace.
Before we begin, we assess your posture and body mechanics — we don’t work blindly or by habit.
We are committed to ongoing education, always refining our own skills to offer the most effective, thoughtful care possible — because we genuinely do care.
Nothing in your body is random.
Every symptom is a signal, every ounce of tension is a clue.
It’s our job to help put the pieces together — so your body can remember how to feel at ease again. Unfortunately, this doesn't happen after only one treatment.
With that being said…
We will no longer be offering single appointments for Deep Tissue Massage or Lymphatic Drainage Massage.
These 2 treatments will only be available as a block of 4 ,or 10, appointments from now on.
Why?
Because your mind, body and nervous system needs time to relearn, rewire, and feel safe again.
This isn’t about a quick fix, it’s about creating lasting change — by changing your lifestyle, shifting how your brain perceives tension and by fixing your connection to your body.
Good health isn’t something you can just “find” — however, it is something that you can train your body into
step by step,
session by session.
We focus only on deep healing, not quick fixes ❤️🔥
