Weight gain often happens slowly, so it goes relatively un-noticed until you catch "that glimpse" of yourself in the mirror and wonder where it came from! As we age, we start to lose muscle mass and our metabolism slows down - it's part of the ageing process which starts around 20-30 years old. So if you carry on eating the same as you always did you'll inevitably put on weight. Even a small calorie surplus of 50-60 calories per day (one too many biscuits!) can easily result in several pounds extra at the end of the year.

Hi everyone, I run a buggy-friendly small group PT session on a Wednesday at 2pm and a space has just become available starting tomorrow 17th April. The session is 45 mins long 2-2.45pm and suitable for all levels of fitness (if you are post-natal you must have had your 6 week GP check). It's £5 per class bookable in blocks of 4 (so £20 for 4 classes). The venue is my home studio in Houston.

Spaces at this group don't come up often so please get in touch asap if you'd like to join!
