Meet Our Team: Jade Hensby – Audiologist

Bio:
Jade completed her degree in Audiology in 2015 and began her career in the NHS, where she worked until mid-2022. During this time, she developed a strong clinical interest in working alongside ENT clinics for both adult and paediatric patients, with a particular focus on pre-operative and post-operative testing.

She is passionate about education and professional development and has delivered training through presentations and staff-led sessions, most recently on Behavioural Science in Audiology. Alongside this, she has undertaken additional courses to further her expertise in tinnitus management and in providing patient-centred care for individuals living with dementia.

Outside of work, she enjoys staying active and can often be found hiking with her dog or swimming.

• Favourite Quote: “E Pluribus Unum” which is Latin for “out of many, one”

• Fun fact: She never goes anywhere without a book and is an avid reader, with a particular passion for American politics, a subject in which she also holds her first degree.

Peter is one of our patients who has been seeing Cathy in our Lewes Clinic for the past few months.
He has been lucky to try Oticon latest products Oticon Zeal and with the help of our Cathy, this device has been checked and adjusted and calibrated to Peter’s needs and preferences.

They had a few check-ins along the way and we will always be here for Peter and all of our patients, to make sure their hearing aids and their general ear health are spot on!
