In 1999, Lama Yeshe Losal Rinpoche, Abbot of Samye Ling Monastery (Aberdeen, Scotland) was inspired to lay the Foundations of Green Tara Centre for Peace and Healing in Brighton. Since then, meditation has been led by:

1st & 3rd Sunday of the month -- Green Tara and Chenrezi Pujas; 2nd & 4th Wednesday of the month -- Tonglen Practice In all Green Tara Practices there is a strong emphasis on: sacred mantra, healing self and others and spreading wisdom and harmony to Brighton and to all beings in the name of transformation and peace. Green Tara - often called Mother of all Buddhas, is an emanation from the pure mind of Amitabha, Buddha of boundless light.
