Not your traditional choir-look!

Singing in the circle is where it’s at.

Many of our singers walk in looking quite surprised, they’ve built up an image in their minds of a choir -with rows of pews and sheet music, all facing the grand choir leader at the front of the room.

Not at Singing Mamas. Nope!

We gather in a circle, the babes play in the middle (we’re all collectively taking care of the young ones) and they get the BEST spot for hearing the delicious harmonies!

So much of our singing groups are about the COMMUNITY. Yes we sing.. but really what we are practicing each week is self acceptance, non-judgement, appreciation and gratitude, being imperfect, letting go of pressures, meeting new friends, having fun, lightening the heart...

It’s good stuff! And so much more fun when we can see each other! There is no one looking on, it’s not a performance, so it’s all about our own enjoyment!

The hard part is getting through the door when you don’t know what to expect. But our leaders know this.. they are completely prepared to help you into your own courage to walk in, take your seat and gently find your way into your singing voice. No spotlight will ever be on you. We promise!

Eugény is also an award winning aromatherapist, multi-disciplinary massage therapist and crystal healer, and has always been interested in the healing and connective qualities of singing. She practices and teaches from Hove, and Brighton.

🧡When Eugény found out she was pregnant in 2017, she immediately had a yearning for connectivity to a community of women where everyone’s experience and emotion could be shared with each other within the circle. Eugény then stumbled across the Singing Mamas website and she felt 'the connection' she was looking for!

🧡She trained to be a Singing Mamas Leader in 2019 and has since opened her choir in Hove.
