Five Steves. One Dartmoor. And a reminder I didn’t know I needed.
There’s something about being out on the moor — the space, the quiet, the sense of perspective. Somewhere between the walking, the conversations, and answering to “Steve” all day, I was reminded how important it is to step away from the noise of everyday life.
For me, this is part of looking after my mental health. Not just the deeper work we might do in therapy, but the everyday things too — getting outside, connecting with others, having time to think (or not think at all).
We often wait until things feel overwhelming before we reach out for support. But wellbeing doesn’t have to start there. It can begin with small moments of awareness, care, and giving ourselves permission to pause.
And sometimes, it’s about having a space where you can explore what’s really going on beneath the surface — safely, and at your own pace.
That’s the work I offer through counselling, psychotherapy, and coaching.
If this resonates, you’re very welcome to get in touch.
