Five Steves. One Dartmoor. And a reminder I didn’t know I needed.

There’s something about being out on the moor — the space, the quiet, the sense of perspective. Somewhere between the walking, the conversations, and answering to “Steve” all day, I was reminded how important it is to step away from the noise of everyday life.

For me, this is part of looking after my mental health. Not just the deeper work we might do in therapy, but the everyday things too — getting outside, connecting with others, having time to think (or not think at all).

We often wait until things feel overwhelming before we reach out for support. But wellbeing doesn’t have to start there. It can begin with small moments of awareness, care, and giving ourselves permission to pause.

And sometimes, it’s about having a space where you can explore what’s really going on beneath the surface — safely, and at your own pace.

That’s the work I offer through counselling, psychotherapy, and coaching.

If this resonates, you’re very welcome to get in touch.

Sometimes it’s not obvious how much we’re carrying until we pause long enough to notice.

Therapy offers a space to slow down, to speak freely, and to be met with understanding rather than judgement. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, low, or simply curious about yourself, you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

I offer a warm, supportive space where we can explore what’s going on for you at your own pace. Together, we can begin to make sense of things, find clarity, and create meaningful change.

If you’re thinking about starting therapy, I offer a free initial conversation so we can see if we feel like the right fit.

Clinical supervision is a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with your work in a thoughtful and supported way.

Whether you’re a trainee, newly qualified, or an experienced practitioner, supervision offers an opportunity to explore your client work, notice what’s happening in the therapeutic relationship, and attend to your own process as a therapist.

My approach to supervision is relational, supportive, and grounded in curiosity. I work with therapists to create a space where we can think together, explore challenges, and deepen clinical awareness — while also holding in mind wellbeing, ethics, and professional development.

I offer both in-person and online supervision, and welcome therapists from a range of modalities and backgrounds.

If you’re looking for a supervisor, I offer a free initial conversation so we can see if it feels like a good fit.
