Here at Tongdean Eye Clinic, we pride ourselves on an extremely high level of patient care. Professor Christopher Liu, our consultant ophthalmic surgeon and director, has been in private practice in Hove for over twenty years. We specialise in difficult cases of cataract surgery, dry eye, blepharitis, corneal diseases and surgery including modern lamellar corneal transplantation (especially DMEK),

refractive surgery, keratoprostheses (artificial corneae) and glaucoma, but we also provide comprehensive ophthalmology care.

I was pleased to meet Chloe and Shen for tea yesterday when they presented copies of our book "Cataract Surgery - Pearls and Techniques" which has been translated into simplified Chinese for colleagues in China.

When another Chloe turned up, the situation became surreal!

Helena told me at yesterday's Presidential Dinner that the book is in wide circulation in Brunei but in pdf form. My co-editor and chapter authors have done the book to spread knowledge and not for money so that's absolutely fine by us.
