One of my clients slept for 4 hours after her first brazilian lymphatic session.

After 2–3 sessions, she still felt sleepy after the treatment, but only needed a short nap.

By session 5, the post-treatment tiredness was much lighter.

Why does this happen?

Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage doesn’t only work on bloating, puffiness, and fluid retention.
The rhythmic, repetitive movements help calm the body and support the nervous system into a deeper state of relaxation.

When the nervous system slows down, many people realize how exhausted their body actually was.

This is why after a session you may feel:

Before every session, I always tell new clients to feel free to let me know if the pressure is ever too much. After that, I pay attention to how your body responds and adjust accordingly.

Massage doesn’t need to be extremely painful for it to be effective, and you definitely don’t need to be in agony to get good results. “Stronger means better” is a myth.

There’s always a line between that “sweet pain” - the good kind of tension release - and actual pain. And as I always say: if you’re hurting the next day, that’s not a good sign.
