We’re so excited to introduce our new Mums & Babies Coffee Club here at Fairdene 🍼✨
A beautiful new initiative led by Lisa, bringing together local mums, babies and toddlers with our wonderful residents.

There’s something truly special about watching generations come together — tiny giggles, gentle cuddles and the biggest smiles from young and old alike.

Moments like these remind us what community is all about 💫

Celebrating Mother’s Day at Fairdene Lodge 💐

A beautiful afternoon tea with flower cupcakes, cream scones and lots of delicious treats. We were also delighted to welcome a few family members who came to visit and celebrate with us, making the afternoon even more special.

Such a lovely day filled with smiles, laughter and precious moments. 🌸🧁

Something adorable is coming to Fairdene Lodge! 🐥

From 16th March, we’ll be watching ducklings hatch right here at the home using a specialist incubator. There’s nothing quite like seeing new life appear and we’re so excited for the magic to begin.

The ducklings will stay with us for a few days before being safely returned to the farm where they will continue to be cared for and grow as part of a professional educational programme.

There’s nothing quite like the sea air and a change of scenery 🌊

We had such a lovely time heading out along the seafront on the Pedal People bike carriages this week, thanks to the kindness of their wonderful volunteer pilots. From waving to passers-by to stopping for chats (and plenty of fuss with friendly dogs 🐶), it was a joyful afternoon of fresh air, smiles and connection with the community around us.

Moments like these are so important — getting out and about, feeling part of everyday life, and enjoying the outdoors can make a real difference to wellbeing and mood.

A wonderful day all round 💜

🎁✨ What a fantastic time we had at our Care Home team's Secret Santa, expertly organised by our wonderful Deputy, Ranjana! 🎉

The atmosphere was filled with joy and laughter as we exchanged gifts and shared stories, creating unforgettable memories together. The drinks flowed, the snacks were plentiful, and the camaraderie was truly heartwarming. 🍷🍪

Our lively team really knows how to come together and celebrate! The fun and laughter echoed throughout the room, reminding us all of the special bond we share.

A huge thank you to Ranjana for putting this wonderful event together, making it a night to remember! Here’s to more joyful moments and the incredible teamwork that makes our care home such a warm and welcoming place! ❤️🌟
