Set in the grounds of California Lodge Garden Centre, Howden Men’s Shed is a friendly, busy place where men of all ages can come and learn new skills, practice old ones, or just put the world to rights over a cup of tea!

It’s not just about building and making things, it’s about building friendships, making social connections and sharing skills, knowledge and a lot of laughter!

If you have had enough of daytime TV, if you have 'nothing to do' or nowhere to do it or if you just want to meet up with a bunch of likeminded chaps for a cuppa and a chinwag just come along and say hello!

We are open every Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:30-13:00,so if you are interested just drop in for a cup of tea and have a look around - you are guaranteed a warm reception!

We have sent out text invitations for our Spring Covid Booster clinic today.

Our main clinic is being held on Saturday, 18th April.

If you (or someone you know) think you may be eligible but haven't received a message yet, please get in touch with our reception team on 01430 430318.
We can check your eligibility and get you booked in.

In March, we had 84 missed appointments.

That resulted in:

• 287 minutes of lost GP Time

• 745 minutes of lost Nurse time

That is over 17 hours lost in just one month.
