Blood Tests available at Baby Bump 🌟

At Baby Bump, we also have a wide selection of Blood Tests available that are performed by qualified Phlebotomists

♥️ Gender Blood Test from 6 weeks:
✅ 99.1% accurate DNA-based blood test ✅ Results sent in 3-4 working days
✅ We do advise that it is extremely beneficial to have had an early dating scan prior to having this test to ensure viability of your pregnancy, that you are definitely at least 6 weeks pregnant and whether it is a single or multiple pregnancy as these factors may affect the accuracy of your results.

♥️ NIPT Standard from 10 weeks
✅ NIPT is a safe and non-Invasive screening test that uses cell free DNA (cf DNA) found in maternal blood to detect chromosomal anomalies accurately, starting from WEEK 10 of pregnancy.
✅ NIPT detects the possible anomalies at a very early stage, i.e., Week 10, with a high degree of accuracy.
✅ The blood sample contains maternal and fetal DNA. Non-Invasive Pre-Natal tests can help identify if your baby is likely to have a chromosomal condition.
✅ Being non-invasive, it is completely safe for mother and baby.
✅The NHS provides combined screening to detect the risk of chromosomal abnormalities, but there are concerns over the accuracy and false positive rate: Accuracy is 85% for First Trimester Screening and 8-% for the Quadruple Screening Test.

NIPT Advanced from 10 weeks
✅ This test includes all of the standard testing and looks at S*x chromosome anomalies (SCA) which occur when there is a missing, extra or partial/incomplete s*x chromosome (X or Y).
