Details of classes, retreats and workshops with qualified yoga teacher, Justine Aldersey-Williams. Justine is one of the few teachers in the country to hold both the three year (500 hour) yoga teaching diploma from the British Wheel of Yoga (Sport England's governing body) and to be recognised as a 'Senior Yoga Teacher' by Yoga Alliance U.K. She has been teaching extensively since 2006, teaching thousands of primary and secondary school children for many of the country's Local Education Authorities. Justine wrote and designed the 'Teach Children Yoga' kit including the popular children's meditation CD, 'Relax... It's Karmatime - Magical Meditations for Children' (available on Amazon and iTunes) and has delivered yoga teacher training to school teachers and those wishing to start their own children's yoga classes. Justine has developed her own individual style of teaching which blends her training with the BWY with her practice of Iyengar Yoga since 2002. She offers Dynamic Vinyasa classes in her hometown, Hoylake and runs retreats and workshops around the U.K. Justine is also a textile designer, having just completed an MA specialising in botanical fabric dyeing and mindful creativity. She recognises yoga as a lifestyle and teaches others how to access 'the zone' both on and off the mat.

I am taking a sabbatical from yoga teaching for the remainder of 2017.

Happily, my new textile business is flourishing and I'll be focussing all my energy on developing it for the next few months.

I'll review this in 2018 but until then, please seek out a properly trained and experienced (British Wheel of Yoga https://www.bwy.org.uk/find-a-yoga-class/) teacher.

more from the crazy world of westernised yoga.... last week, it was latex yoga (I also could have shared news about the latest vibrating yoga pants!) Of course, other options for future lesson plans include goat yoga, naked yoga and bring your dog to yoga... p.s. if you haven't realised yet... NONE of these will happen in my classes. 😆
