I can't quite believe it but, it is now 4 years since I first opened the doors and my heart to bring Your Time Believe Belong Become CIC to you.

It has become so much more than I could've ever imagined.

Good morning!!

I am feeling thankful today.❤️

We are called Your Time, Believe, Belong, Become CIC, and I am sure many of you are unaware of what the CIC actually means.

So, let me explain....

CIC stands for community Interest company.
Which means we are a "not-for-profit" business. In simple terms, we do not run our business for personal gain.

As a CIC, your priority is community and giving back to community.
At Your Time Believe Belong Become CIC community is at the heart of everything we do, from our members, to our wider community.

We also rely on additional funding awards so we can keep our weekly group fees low.
Our funders this year The National Lottery Community Fund Nottinghamshire County Council Ashfield district council UKSP The Mansfield Building Society South Nottinghamshire Place-Based Partnership

The funding landscape is getting increasingly difficult.

So, this summer we reached out to our local community for support for prize donations for a Big Summer raffle.

Oh boy, did they rise to our plea!

And I'd like to give them a huge Your Time thank you for their kindness!!

Wow!

What a fabulous day we all had at The John Godber Centre Craft Fair.

This fab venue is the place we call home for our Friday weekly well-being support session.

We are grateful to them for the opportunity to help us raise much needed funds to continue our sessions.

It was more than raising funds, it was also about building our members confidence, to try something new, while being part of a team and feeling supported.

They had fun running a very popular Tombola stall, Guess the name, Summer raffle and lucky dip.

And they also provided the refreshments and ran the community cafe.

As a well-being company our goal is helping our members to live their best life, and seeing them yesterday, I feel very proud of them all.

Team orange you are awesome!❤️❤️❤️❤️

There were also so many fabulous handmade items on display from the very talented stall holders.

We even had a kind donation to help us raise funds at future events from the lovely Le-Ann Clayton. Thank you, you are very talented and kind.

And our final fundraising total for the day was

We can't wait to fundraise at this fab event at the John Godber Centre on Sunday. Come along share a cake, cuppa and find out more about our weekly wellbeing sessions in a no pressure environment it would be lovely to meet you x

Ted would like to share that Your Time Believe Belong Become CIC are joining us on Sunday raising funds for their group that is based in the John Godber Centre, registered CIC number 13577843.

The lovely Your Time team and their wonderful volunteers will be selling refreshments and cakes during the event and also have a tombola and children’s lucky dip.

The group meets here on a Friday and encourages people to come together weekly and also arranges outings and activities creating positive experiences and working on mindsets. The group works on wellbeing, mindset and body confidence and arranges members to come together and spend some time away from the normal hustle and bustle of life, finding time for ourselves "your time"

Come join us this weekend on Sunday 7th September for a lovely crafternoon with some amazing craft stalls selling creatives and gifts 11am to 2pm.

We will also be running a stall with bracelets handmade by our members.

Also, it will be the final day to buy our Summer raffle tickets at just £1 each, with some fantastic prizes donated by local businesses.

We are proud to call this amazing venue our home.

Wow,

What an incredible day we had today thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund.
Our members were safely transported by Kevin Stewart from Ravenshead Community Transport to Wollaton Hall and Deer Park and CommuniTree Nottingham When Women Gather amazing "Music In The Park" event.

We sang, danced, drummed, did yoga, tried circus skills and made flowers.

A really uplifting life affirming day with an amazing community.

Today I dropped in to Tesco Extra, Hucknall, Nottingham Ashgate Road to fill up their charity bookshelf with the kind donations from our weekly well-being support group members.

Did you know that the monetary donations for the books taken, you place in the honesty box, go to support local charitable causes in the Hucknall area?.

Thanks to Tesco Extra Hucknall and Hayley Briggs their community champion, Your Time Believe Belong Become CIC is the lucky recipient during the month of August.

CRAFT FAIR - SUNDAY 7th SEPTEMBER
We're looking forward to hosting our next Community Craft Fair on Sunday 7th September, come join us and support small businesses and creatives from the county. Shop local. Shop handmade. Shop happy.
Fundraising for our community venue in the heart of Hucknall but also Time Believe Belong Become CIC
The event is free to all to enter and free parking and will include:
🏵Craft and Gift Stalls including beauty, crafts, wood turning, jewellery and much more
🌸Cakes and Refreshments (provided by and fundraising for the Your Time group, registered CIC number 13577843)
🏵Fun Children's Craft Activities
🌸A place to relax and chat with others
