We had such a wonderful trip to our local church today with Louise and Sam. ⛪️✨

It was a truly special and peaceful visit. It meant so much to be able to light a candle and take a quiet moment to remember our loved ones who are no longer with us. 🕯️🤍

To top it all off, we were even offered a lovely cup of tea while we were there. It really is the little things that make a day so bright. All in all, a beautiful and heartfelt day out. ☕️🌸

What a fabulous day we had out and about in our local community! ☀️🌻

We started our day with a trip to the local shops to pick up all the supplies we needed. It was so much fun exploring the neighborhood and chatting with everyone. Once we got back, it was time to get creative in the kitchen—we made our very own "posh desserts" and they looked (and tasted!) absolutely incredible. 🍰✨

What a fun day from start to finish. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🍓🍨

🎶 Music, Movement, and So Much Laughter! 🌈

We’ve had the most wonderful morning here today! The music has been turned up loud, and the atmosphere has been absolutely electric.

A huge thank you to Mary, who brought in some fabulous ribbons for us to use! Both our staff and residents have had a brilliant time waving them to the beat—it’s been a colorful sea of swirls and smiles in every direction. 💃✨

There’s nothing quite like good music and great company to lift the spirits. What a laugh we’ve all had together!

🐻 Roy’s Big Adventure: Skegness Edition! 🏖️

Our favorite mascot, Roy the Bear, is officially on his travels again! No passport was required for this trip because he’s hitched a ride with Cheryl for a classic British seaside getaway to Skegness! 🍦

It’s been a busy morning for our furry friend. Roy has already:
🕹️ Tested his luck (and coordination) at the arcades.
🪣 Been on a mission to find the perfect bucket and spade.
🌊 And now? He’s finally heading down to the beach to soak up some sun!

The residents at Buddleia House have been busy getting creative to commemorate VE Day on Friday.! Everyone has worked incredibly hard together to handcraft this fabulous poppy display.

It’s been wonderful to see such a great team effort, with everyone pitching in to honor this important day. We are so proud of our residents for creating such a beautiful and moving tribute.

🧸 Big News from Buddleia House! 🧸

Everyone, please give a huge warm welcome to Roy – our brand-new mascot bear! 🎉 This lovely name was chosen and given to him by our wonderful residents earlier today, and we think it suits him perfectly 💛

And that’s not all… Roy is already getting ready for his very first adventure! He’s heading off with our lovely Cheryl on his first holiday this coming weekend, and we are all buzzing with excitement wondering exactly where his travels will take him ✈️🌍

🌟 Excitement is building here at Buddleia House! 🌟

We’re bursting with pride to share that Sam Wood, Tammy Foster and Charlotte Bream have been nominated for the prestigious Dementia Care Team Award! 🎉✨

Today, they’re heading to the beautiful Coombe Abbey for the UK Dementia Awards ceremony, where their incredible work and dedication will be celebrated alongside so many other amazing professionals from across the country.

From everyone at Buddleia House, we’re sending you all the biggest good luck vibes, hugs and cheers! You three do such an amazing job every single day, and this nomination is so well deserved — whatever happens today, you’re already winners in our eyes 🤞💙

Congratulations also to our Senior Managers Kara and Amanda for their outstanding work across all Milford Care homes.

☀️🌸 PERFECT SPRING DAYS DON’T GET MUCH BETTER THAN THIS! 🌸☀️

What a beautiful, lovely sunny spring day we’ve had! 🥰 We enjoyed the gorgeous weather with an alfresco dinner outside, sitting in the warm sunshine and making the most of every moment ✨

It was so special sharing this time with great friends – lots of laughter, happy chats and good company all round 😂❤️ We spent the afternoon watching planes fly overhead and keeping an eye out for all the beautiful birds visiting us too – such simple joys that make the day feel just perfect ✈️🐦

Moments like these are what life is all about! 💛

What an absolutely wonderful day we’ve had here at Buddleia House! 🥳

Our medieval banquet looked absolutely incredible today 🍗🏰 – the setting and the spread were just perfect! A huge, special thank you and well done to Louise, Sam and Mary, who really pulled out all the stops to make everything so beautiful and special. Your hard work and effort didn’t go unnoticed, and it really made our day!

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿✨ ST GEORGE’S DAY & OUR 7TH BIRTHDAY AT BUDDLEIA HOUSE! ✨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

What an absolutely amazing day we’ve had here at Buddleia House! 🥳 We celebrated two wonderful occasions together – St George’s Day and our very special 7th birthday – and everyone had the best time ever! 🎉

The fabulous Richie Lee provided the entertainment and had the whole place buzzing 🎶🎤 – and the best part? Our residents were right up dancing to all their favourite songs! 💃🕺 Seeing everyone enjoying themselves, singing along and having such a great time made the day extra special.

It really was a day full of laughter, great food, brilliant company and wonderful memories. Thank you to everyone who helped make our 7th birthday and St George’s Day celebrations so perfect – here’s to many more happy years ahead! 💖🥂
