Hucknall Leisure Centre Hucknall Leisure Centre features all the facilities you’d expect from a modern, well-equipped sports centre.

A modern facility featuring a 25 m main pool, newly built teaching pool, 100+ station gym, group fitness studios, squash courts, sports hall, café, and children's birthday party options. The gym features more than 100 pieces of the latest equipment, while the three group fitness studios offer classes that are suited to just about everyone, from circuits or group cycling to Pilates and yoga. Meanwhile, the swimming pool hosts award-winning swimming lessons alongside a range of other aquatic activities, and the sports hall offers a variety of activities including badminton, table tennis and football. Elsewhere, there are squash courts available for hire, as well as a food and beverage area. You can even hold children’s birthday parties at Hucknall Leisure Centre.

🏔️ Today, colleagues from Everyone Active - Sevenoaks and Barking & Dagenham are joining more than 800 public sector participants in the Public Sector Challenge: Peak Pursuit - a sponsored walk through the stunning Peak District National Park.

We’re proud to be a sponsor of this year’s event which will raise funds for Cancer Research UK (CRUK) and British Heart Foundation.

From Mam Tor and Back Tor, across the Great Ridge to Lose Hill, Bamford Edge and Win Hill, our team will be exploring some of the most iconic and scenic routes the Peaks have to offer, alongside hundreds of others from across the public sector.

Our upgraded AlterG anti-gravity treadmill is already transforming lives – helping residents improve mobility, reduce pain and rebuild confidence. From stroke recovery to long-term conditions, it’s giving people the freedom to move again without fear 💙

Thanks to a £43,000 joint investment with Stevenage Community Trust, we’ve been able to upgrade this life-changing technology and support even more people through our Exercise Referral scheme.

One member summed it up perfectly: “The AlterG was the game changer… it’s given my lower body a freedom it hasn’t felt for nearly 30 years.”

Our Story..

Hucknall Leisure Centre features all the facilities you’d expect from a modern, well-equipped sports centre. Our gym features more than 100 pieces of the latest equipment, while our group exercise studios offer classes that are suited to just about everyone.
