I started my hairdressing career over 30 years ago at a college in Fareham, Hampshire which I thoroughly enjoyed and knew immediately this was going to be my chosen career. I have worked in many salons in different positions including stylist and colour technician. Whilst bringing up my family I was able to work as a freelance hairdresser offering a mobile service, as my children grew I trained as a college lecturer and received my Teaching qualification, D32/D33 and CertEd. I have worked as a hairdressing lecturer, course manager and tutor for 11 years where I had taught at many levels from introduction to advanced and more recently Wig Making (knotting, weaving, application and maintenance/care). With my gained wig making skills and knowledge I have been able to help some close friends and colleagues through hard times, needing assistance and guidance with purchasing and styling a wig. I would like to offer an easy, stress free personal service for anyone requiring a wig, whether it’s due to illness, treatment or personal preference. I have created a purpose built salon in my home for clients with a range of wigs and aftercare products. Upon request I can visit you in the comfort of your own home offering a consultation along with wig samples and catalogues. I am now able to accept NHS wig vouchers from NUH trust..

Since Diamond Hair Solutions owner Linzi started the Diamond Wig Bank in 2019, she has raised over £14,000 for Alopecia UK! She has an assistant, Leah, helping her now and they're looking for wig donations.

60% of proceeds from wig bank sales are donated to Alopecia UK, with remaining 40% covering the costs of running the wig bank.

Thanks to Linzi and Leah for all their efforts with the wig bank. It's a great initiative which means wigs that are not being worn get a new home AND a small charity receives some much-needed income!
