Feeling Festive 🎄✨

We spent the morning making and decorating gingerbread cookies. Nothing says tradition cheer like that warm, sweet smell. Then we all sat together to enjoy them with a lovely cup of tea.

We are thrilled to be preparing for the upcoming Christmas tree 🌲 festival🎉 at St Mary’s Magdalene Church in Hucknall, where we will be showcasing our unique Montessori-inspired book-themed tree decorations 📕. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our esteemed author Lynne Phair, for her unwavering support and inspiration in helping us bring our creative vision to life☺️. Her wonderful books have been a constant source of motivation and we are delighted to pay a tribute to her work through our festive creations🌟. Today, the residents participated in a nail-pampering💅🏻 session, enjoying a relaxing manicure and a choice of nail polish that brightened their day✨. The gentle hand- massage, bright colours and attentive care lifted their spirits 🤗, leaving them feeling refreshed and more at ease. It was a pleasant time that added a touch of self care to their routine 🤩☺️😊.

Celebrating a majestic milestone, we were delighted to celebrate King Charles 77th birthday in a fitting manner. Our residents gathered to extend their warmest wishes to His Majesty, indulging in a delicious buffet, cakes and snacks amidst a regal atmosphere that added to the joy of the occasion.

We observed a solemn two-minute silence, with residents and staff uniting in a moment of quiet reflection.
