This afternoon has been a bit of an exercise afternoon but it’s been a fun one!

We did newspaper treadmill and then balloon swatting!
We’ve had a right laugh😆

Yesterday afternoon we had Bingo!!
Bingo goes down a treat at Meadow Court, we always play for a line & then a full house!
Prizes are always won which makes the game even better🏆

Yesterday morning Tony & I went down to Slaithwaite Village, he has lived in Slaithwaite all of his life so it brought lots of memories back for him! 🤗
We had a ponder on carr lane to look at all the shops then we popped into Vanilla Bean for a coffee☕️
He had a lovely morning💙

Last Friday was fish & chip Friday from the chippy!
We have fish & chip Friday the first Friday of every month, it’s a fab treat🐟🍟

Good afternoon everyone🥰

We are going to start hosting afternoon teas once a month in our dining room, this would be lovely for families & relatives to come and join the residents to have a chat & spend time with their loved ones over a coffee and cake☕️🫖🧁🍰🥐

We used to do coffee mornings but mornings in the dining room are so busy as people are still having their breakfast so we’ve gone for an afternoon instead!

The 1st one we are doing is on Friday the 26th of September at 2pm, this will go on for an hour so we are able to set up the tables for the residents at tea time.
