Tuesday afternoon we did our remembrance service in one of our lounges, we sang war songs, said prayers, reminisced about the war and those that lost their families in that time🪽
There was a lot of mixed emotions during this activity - it was a pleasure to do a service with them as this is a big part of their lives❤️

Wednesday we had ALX Creations come to show us how to do ink art!
It was amazing how you could paint landscapes with ink and make it all come together😍
David was straight into it, he loved it!!

Yesterday afternoon we thought we’d do Zumba with a twist - we watched an exercise class on YouTube!

Little did we know it was going to be a little faster than we thought😂😂 even I struggled keeping up😂😂😂

It was a lot of fun - we laughed throughout, that’s the main thing!

Next week I think we’ll go back to normal Zumba😂😂

Jean was busy playing with her sensory toys but her shoulders were moving up & down to the beat of the music💗

This afternoon we have been making poppy wreaths, we painted the poppies last week & have made them into wreaths today!
These are now on display in our dining room ready for Sunday❤️❤️❤️

The residents really enjoyed watching our firework display last night, they all had front row seats with a tipple in the warmth!🎆🥰

Hope you all enjoyed your pie & peas, hotdogs and refreshments!🌭🥧🍷🍻
Thank you to all those that came and watched with their families, it was lovely to see you all!

Massive thank you to all staff that helped last night we couldn’t have done this without you!🥰
