It’s time for change ❤️

It’s time to change our outdated terminology!

*These are my own opinions, as an autistic therapist who uses neuroaffirming terminology in report writing. These may not reflect all autistic individual’s opinions.

Unfortunately I’ve turned off comments to protect myself and my own needs as an autistic person who experiences RSD.

❤️

By ‘stop pathologising’ I mean ‘stop deciding that any kind of different behaviour is a medical problem that needs fixing’.

The neurotypical way is not a superior way. It’s just the way most people are used to.

This is available as an A3 poster (digital download) on teachers pay teachers.

It’s also on my instagram
