Covid vaccines are now available at the surgery for all eligible patients. We will be sending out invites to those who are eligible or you can ring the surgery to book your appointment. Vaccinations are available until 30th June.

🦠 Meningitis B Vaccine – Important Information

The Meningitis B vaccine was introduced in 2015 and is part of the routine childhood vaccination programme for babies.

It is not currently available on the NHS for older children or adults, unless they are students at the University of Kent, where a recent outbreak has occurred.

If you are interested in vaccination, this can be arranged privately through a number of private providers or chemists.

We are currently recruiting to the Optimise 2 study, looking at the effects of de-prescribing blood pressure medications in older patients. You will receive further information and an invitation to participate if you meet the eligibility criteria for this study.

Our first flu and Covid vaccination clinic is tomorrow 8am-2pm.

If you have an appointment for this clinic we look forward to seeing you then. Everyone will be given their flu vaccine and also offered the Covid vaccine if eligible.

Please arrive on time for your appointment and wear clothing which allows us to easily access your arm to provide vaccination.

** This issue is now resolved**

We have been made aware that some patients are experiencing issues with the e-consult software this morning. We have spoken to the e-consult team and they are working hard to fix this asap.

In the meantime, e-consults still appear to be working if completed via a smart phone or the iPads in the surgery.
