Meet the Team 🤝 Sophie Brown

✨Art Psychotherapist✨

Sophie is an HCPC-registered Art Psychotherapist with over 7 years’ experience in CAMHS, supporting young people with anxiety, depression, and complex trauma. She previously worked in specialist schools with children and young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions, as well as in community mental health services.

Alongside art psychotherapy, Sophie draws on approaches like ACT, DBT, and CATT to tailor support to each individual. She has a special interest in helping young people with neurodevelopmental conditions build self-understanding and connection.

✨Clinical Psychologist✨

With over seven years’ NHS experience, Chloe works with children and young people across therapeutic and neurodevelopmental assessment settings. She is trained in specialist approaches including EMDR, DDP, ACT, and CBT, tailoring her work to each individual’s needs.

Chloe prioritises building trusting, collaborative relationships and creating holistic formulations to truly understand young people and their families. She is also experienced in Autism and ADHD assessments and regularly delivers training on neurodevelopment and neurodiversity.

✨Service Co-ordinator✨

Holly brings both clinical and educational experience to her role, having previously worked on an autism diagnosis team and as a supply teaching assistant. These experiences shaped her compassionate, person-centred approach to supporting children, families, and professionals.

With a degree in Education with Psychology and Counselling and a Master’s in Developmental Psychology, Holly has a strong foundation in human development and mental health. She’s passionate about helping people access the right support at the right time and takes pride in keeping services running smoothly and effectively.

Meet the Team 🤝 Dr Sara O’Mahony

✨Highly Specialist Speech and Language Therapist✨

With over 20 years’ experience, Sara has worked across autism diagnostic services, supporting children of all ages to communicate and thrive. Before training as a speech and language therapist, she was a qualified teacher working with children with special educational needs.

Sara holds multiple postgraduate qualifications in autism interventions, a doctorate focused on early word learning in autism, and is a certified Sensory Integration Practitioner.

It was interesting and informative to talk about the progress of SEND reform and discussing the needs for our clients and services.
