The importance of caring enough about yourself to make room for the things that nourish you…
As part of your aftercare advice, post treatment, I might include suggestions on things that could improve your overall wellbeing and nourish you, outside of your actual treatment.
One of my suggestions may be finding things that nourish your soul. When you discover something that nourishes your soul, it’s a deeply personal experience, but it often involves activities or things that bring you joy, peace, or a sense of fulfillment.
This could be anything from spending time in nature, connecting with loved ones, or engaging in hobbies that bring you a sense of purpose. The key is that it resonates with your inner self and provides a positive impact on your emotional and mental well-being.
Ask yourself…
❤️What brings me joy?
Consider activities, hobbies, or experiences that consistently make you feel happy and uplifted.
❤️What brings me peace?
Look for activities that help you relax, de-stress, and find inner calm, such as meditation, spending time in nature, or listening to calming music.
❤️What gives me a sense of purpose?
This could be volunteering, helping others, working towards a meaningful goal, or engaging in creative pursuits.
It is so important to make a conscious effort to schedule things that nourish you, into your daily, weekly or monthly routines. Self care is not selfish. You are important. Take care of you. You deserve it.
I looking forward to seeing you soon. Sadie xx
