We have had a slightly quieter weekend with only 2 events.

On 17/08 we supported Ilkley and district riding association at the their show jumping competition. We provided one FR and one EFR they were working from one of our RRV’s with a medical tent stocked with all the kit need to manage an equestrian based injury.

We had another team out on Sunday consisting of one FR and two EMT’s supporting a 10K race in Frickley. This was a lovely event and our team throughly enjoyed watching the competitors.

We have a very busy this weekend supporting all manner of events across the north of England, keep your eyes peeled to see what we get up to!

OUR SUMMER SO FAR!

We’ve had an extremely busy summer period so far, so we thought we’d highlight what we’ve been up to!

This summer we’ve covered everything from dance and cheerleading comps, to go karts, to country shows, equestrian events, a Roman festival, proms nights and even a liquorice festival.
Now that we are in August our summer season is starting to draw to a close but we are not going anywhere with plenty more events coming over the next few weekends we will still be around.

Our social media admin has had a little bit of time off but don’t worry it will be worth the wait when you see what we have coming over the next month or two

EVENT HIGHLIGHT : 06/07/2025 Wakefield Armed forces day

On Sunday we were back out at Pontefract providing the medical cover for Wakefield Armed forces day. We provide a full kitted ambulance with a paramedic and EMT, a rapid response car and a fully equipped medical tent.

We had a brilliant day (even if it was rather wet) supporting this event and throughly enjoyed the displays from armed forces skydivers, , and
It’s always a pleasure to be working alongside our emergency services partners.

We had a blast an cannot wait to be back in Pontefract for the liquorice festival soon!

EVENT HIGHLIGHT: 07/07/2025 Inaugural Rob Burrow varsity tournament

On Monday 4 members of our team had the absolute honour of providing the medical cover for the first Rob Burrow rugby tournament

We had an amazing afternoon looking after everyone who was competing and talking to the academy and trust staff about the impact that Rob had had on the Castleford community.

We would like to thank Airedale academy for choosing us to provide the medical cover for the event and we hope that will be back next year!

EVENT HIGHLIGHT - 27/06 - 29/06 CHAMPIONSHIPS

What an AMAZING event and what a way to end the season. On the weekend just gone we had the absolute pleasure of proving the medical cover for Incredibly Cool Events Championships in Stoke-on-Trent. The weekend was amazing and our staff thoroughly enjoyed it. A big congratulations to all of the teams, cheerleaders and dancers on your performances!

Our team were there and ready from the very start on Friday afternoon to the very end on Sunday evening proving a top quality service staffed by first responders, an emergency first responder and an emergency medical technician.

The ICE 2024/2025 season has been absolutely amazing, keep your eyes peeled to see our highlights from the season coming soon! 👀👀👀

EVENTS HIGHLIGHT : 28/06/2025 + 29/06/2025 - Proms at the castle and ABBA at the castle

Over this weekend we had the pleasure of providing the medical cover for two events at Pontefract Castle. This was their Proms at the castle on Saturday and ABBA at the castle on Sunday. On both days we provided an ambulance and a highly skilled team of First Responders, Emergency First Responders, EMTs and paramedics.

Our staff throughly enjoyed the shows and the sunshine. Providing medical cover for crowds of 1600+ is difficult but our expert team made it look easy.
It was a great event with a great atmosphere!

On Saturday we had a team of paramedic, nurse, EMTs, emergency first responders and first responders in Leeds for the Beeston Festival.

Our team had an amazing time providing the medical cover for such a vibrant and fun event. As always our expert team were on hand to provide top quality medical care to anyone who needed it!

EVENT HIGHLIGHT : 22/06/2025 - Cragg Challenge

Last Sunday we had a team of 5 at Cragg challenge in Cragg Vale our highly expert team of First Responders, Emergency First Responder and Emergency Medical Technician provided medical cover from a me of our ambulances, a rapid response car and a tent.

We were on standby throughout the entire event looking after the runners, cyclists and members of the crowd.

We had lots of fun even if we did have to contend with the wind. Thank you so much to the event organisers to choosing us and we look forward to working with you in future!

We are hiring! Do you enjoy working in a team? Can you think fast on your feet? Do you want to make a difference? Maybe you’re the right fit for Response Event Medics.

We are looking to hire people of all clinical grades from first responders to registered health care professionals.
(FREC 3 responders, FREC 4 responders, EMT 1, EMT 2, nurse, paramedic)

We are Huddersfield based and one of Yorkshire number 1 providers for event medical cover. Working as part of a highly professional team you’ll cover events up and down the country from community fairs to equestrian events and motorsports events we have work for everyone.

All of our staff get access to CPD sessions lead by our management team and senior staff along with external organisations.

EVENT HIGHLIGHT : (13/06 - 16/06)

Over the weekend we had the pleasure of supporting at the family weekend at centre parks. We lived everything second of this event and were absolutely honoured to have been chosen to provide the medical support.

We saw first hand the absolutely amazing work that Dravet syndrome UK do and the support that they provide to families is superb.

From face paint to dancing and bowling the weekend was filled with fun and was a great weekend for those affected by Dravet Syndrome.
