What a fantastic night at the Kirklees and Calderdale Care Awards. We had a fantastic evening celebrating some of our wonderful colleagues who had been shortlisted as the best in the region.

Congratulations to all our winners and those nominated and shortlisted by the panel. There were a record number of nominees this year so we are incredibly proud. 👏🏼

Fresh flowers, fresh smiles! 😊
​Our residents brightened up the room—and their day—by arranging beautiful fresh flowers in vases this afternoon. It was a lovely, calming activity 🌷

🎃 What a Fun-Filled Halloween Day! 🎤
It was absolutely fantastic! Our residents brought all the spooky spirit for our Halloween party.
We spent the afternoon getting creative with pumpkin carving and then baked and decorated some delicious treats. Later, everyone gathered for a fun karaoke session, sharing lots of laughs and great songs!
It was a joy to see everyone having such a great time. Thanks to all our amazing residents and staff for making it a wonderful and memorable day!

It was an honour to host veteran families yesterday. We shared many laughs and plenty of tea and cake. The best part was listening to their incredible military service histories. Thank you to the families who also brought in photos of the uniforms—such a powerful glimpse into their past.
We're so proud to be a welcoming spot for our veteran community. See you next time!
