Unfortunately it has come to that point where I have to write a status I’m never keen on writing but if I want to carry on trading it’s inevitable.
As of 1st March there is going to be a slight increase on the services offered at the salon. For so many years when my expenses went up I would take the hit and not increase my price of treatments to keep my clients happy and when I have it has only been slightly and not every year. Iv had to revisit this area of business and look at the inflations that are continuously changing and if I don’t increase I will not be running a profitable business. Rent, bills, products and services have all increased so Iv been left with no choice.
All treatments will have a slight price increase some more than others but I can promise competitive and fair pricing will still be one of my main priorities
Whilst I am on this topic, I want to give a reminder of my no show policy. clients who don’t show up to appointments or cancel at short notice will be expected to pay upfront for any other upcoming appointments to reduce no shows happening. (24 hours notice is expected for cancelation) Unfortunately when a client doesn’t turn up I’m sat expecting to be making a wage and it’s unfair. I am very understanding of situations that arise but nobody would expect to go to work and not be paid for the time they have put in.
Like I say I really dislike doing these posts but it can’t go unannounced and I wouldn’t be able to go on without doing it
Lastly, thank you to my regulars who have been very understanding of the disruptions going on at the salon regarding construction work to the back room, it’s gone on much longer then expected but I’m confident that it should be coming to an end soon.
I hope to still see the familiar faces in the salon and hope I have all of my clients support with this change.
Thank you for reading and I appreciate your continued support
