🍃Cutting animal products from your diet can have many health benefits and is a great way to help the Earth. However, you may be missing out on important nutrients for your mouth. 🦷
So here’s how you can get the nutrients you need, while having a vegan diet:
• Calcium - eat leafy greens eg broccoli and kale, almonds, seeds, unsweetened nut, soya or rice milks.
• Vitamin D - vitamin d fortified cereals and alternative milk drinks, mushrooms, supplements (check for vegan label)
• Iron - beans, chickpeas, pumpkin seeds, chia seeds, wholemeal bread, spring greens, dried apricots.
• Vitamin B12 - cereals, vegan spreads, alternative milk, almonds.
