Positive aspiration…
A lot of people don’t realise this, but a positive aspiration is actually a really important safety check during filler treatments.
It’s when the practitioner gently pulls back on the syringe before injecting — and if blood appears, it means the needle may be in a blood vessel.
Why does that matter? Because injecting filler into a vessel can cause serious complications. This simple step helps reduce that risk and keeps the treatment safer.
It’s not something clients usually see or think about, but it’s one of those behind-the-scenes techniques that shows your practitioner is putting safety first — not just focusing on results.
Good aesthetics isn’t just about how it looks, it’s about how safely it’s done 💉✨
