Greenacres Care Home in Meltham brought sunshine and joy to residents, families, and the wider community with its vibrant Caribbean Theme Summer Fayre. The event, held at the home, was filled with music, food, fun, and laughter, all while raising funds for a worthy cause.

What a lovely day to finish the week with Josh who is a professional 🩰 ballet dancer all the way in sunny Orlando, came to talk and give us dance. This afternoon we have been making postcards with Bev from Give A Few Words which we have really enjoyed, she even brought us ice creams 😁🍦

Happiness happens month started off well with a comedy ken Dodd on in the cinema lounge, every time I went in the residents were belly laughing 🤣 we played higher or lower in Chatty Cafe and told silly jokes. A trip to Wentworth gardens centre and family farm today it was great 😁🐭🐰🦃

As many know...

We have chosen the Kirkwood this year as our chosen charity for 2025 not only for the support they give to those with life limiting illness but the support they give our home in supporting our amazing end of life care.

For the support they have given to one of our colleagues during her time of need & in memory of her lovely husband 💕

We are going to complete a sponsored/ licensed pub hop/ business collection on the 18th of October dressed as elderly people around Meltham & Slaithwaite 😀
