Anxiety Specialist, Weight Loss, Supporting Men & Womens’s Mental Health, Grief & Bereavement and Neurodivergent Minds, Mental Wellbeing Coach, Confidence & Self Esteem Coach I’ve put this page together about my family, my work and myself so you can get to know more about me. We, that’s Jason my husband and my lovely son Andrew, live in the beautiful countryside village of Lepton, between Huddersfield & Wakefield. We share our home with our beautiful, loving Romanian rescue dog- Skye. My background
Previously, I had a successful management career in banking for 17 years, then decided on a complete change of career looking for something more fulfilling. I then joined the NHS Mental Health Team working with multi-disciplined Health professionals whilst continuing my search for the ideal role & purpose. One sleepless night at 2am, I came across on introductory 2 day course about clinical hypnotherapy which I found fascinating and was totally gripped by the difference this can make to peoples lives. I then signed up to a full diploma, gaining full qualification on Psychotherapy & Clinical Hypnotherapy. Since then I continued to expand on my knowledge and learned more alternative & holistic modalities/pathways such as Life Coaching, Sanotherapy, Sound Therapy , Reiki & Sacred Geometry. My passion
I am passionate about helping individual/s in whichever area I work in & in my own little ways whether this is improving their quality of life, coping with life changes & daily pressures and reaching their full potential, goals & aspirations. As a Mum, wife & career woman, I understand the pressures and expectation of today’s modern world that we live in. I also feel it is also important to treat every client with care, understanding and complete discretion. I believe that we have the ability to change & to strive to live for the better. I also believe that we all have a purpose in this 3D world and we can choose to live a life of wellness & wellbeing. What I do
6 years ago, I became a practitioner Clinical Hypnotherapist specialising in Anxiety. My first clinic was based in Shepley but during lockdown Sadly I had to give up my clinic, paused my face to face sessions and moved all my sessions online. Since then, I continue to learn & took courses to become a Sanotherapist, Well-being Coach & Sound Therapist and I use different modalities to help individuals achieve healing, recovery, their goals & aspirations. "I was out cycling on a normal Monday in October when I saw a man who looked visibly upset, and that he might be thinking of taking his life. A woman had already stopped and was talking to him as I arrived. I joined her and tried to get him talking. I introduced myself, asked his name, and what had brought him to this point. From my Samaritans ‘Managing Suicidal Contacts’ course training, I knew that if he could talk and get things off his chest, he might feel some emotional release. While we spoke, the lady went to call for help.

I wanted to get him to a safer place. He was anxious at first but eventually agreed. I asked him to turn towards me so we could talk properly, face to face. When he did, we shared a hug and held on for a minute or two.

He told me it was a particularly tough day, he’d suffered with depression for ten years, and he was missing family he couldn’t see. The emergency services arrived and took over, arranging to take him to a mental health team. We said our goodbyes, and I felt really emotional. To see someone so distressed, where life has become too much, is heart-breaking.

Without Samaritans training, the help of that brave lady, and the courage to talk, he might not have got the help he needed. I’m so grateful I could make a difference. What I learnt, and want to remind everyone, is not to be afraid - you won’t say the wrong thing. you have every chance of making things better, just by talking. It’s all about that human connection.”

What is Hypnotherapy? Hypnotherapy is a natural healing of mind and body through deep relaxation and heightened awareness induced by direct suggestions. Hypnosis is becoming more accepted as a therapy for many emotional and mental problems where the use of medication is sometimes felt to be inappropriate or could possibly result in unpleasant side effects. Hypnotherapy can be applied to a wide range of medical, dental and psychological problems. Areas of application include anxiety and stress conditions, weight control, addictive behaviours (including smoking, alcohol and substance misuse) and confidence issues.
