Writing down your New Year’s resolutions isn’t about creating a perfect plan — it’s about getting clear on the person you want to become.

When you put it on paper, you’re not just setting goals.

You’ve probably told yourself you deserve to switch off over Christmas.

Do you though? Honestly?

What you actually deserve is to protect the progress you’ve grafted all year to build.

But your brain starts whispering, “I’ve earned this… two weeks on the sofa, smashing mince pies, zero effort.”

That isn’t recovery.
That’s self-sabotage pretending to be self-care.

It’s basically saying, “I’ve taken great care of myself all year… now let’s undo it.”
