This month's classes invoke the beautiful energies of the Spring season - new beginnings, new growth and expansion. Not only can we de-clutter our homes but also our minds and let go of that which no longer serves us to make space to bring in something new and transform the stagnation of winter with our gentle Hatha yoga flow class to relieve stress and tension and bring balance into our bodies.
Spring is a time to not only plant seeds in our garden but also within ourselves so we can nurture, nourish and water them so they are able to blossom into our dreams, goals and visions. If we think about a lotus flower coming up out of the mud and into the light, we can also do the same.
As we move through the season with more energy and light, we will practice more flow in standing and also continue to add on to our Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) and classes will continue to include some pranayama, meditation and relaxation.
