🌟🙌Happy New Year to all of our lovely guests and families🌟🙌
We reflected this week about how Acorn Houses has brought us opportunities and the chance to keep learning and growing. The love we have for our guests and their families, the desire we feel to provide tired carers with respite, and our guests with the chance to make friends and feel valued, completely outweighs some of the stressful, anxiety filled moments. We couldn’t do any of it without the best team of support workers there ever was!!! As well as our senior team who work behind the scenes to problem solve and work for solutions to make every guests stay happy and safe!
Well done EVERYONE for an amazing 2025!!!!! Here’s to a wonderful 2026!!!!

Take a look inside Acorn Houses…..
We offer day, and OVER NIGHT respite for adults with Learning Disabilities and or Autism. We create a homely feel with only 5 guests staying at anyone time.

ALL of our guest make genuine friendships at Acorn Houses, we see guests helping each other, laughing with each other, making plans, eating together, working together……. Friendship is so important for our guests and we will always be there to support them in their healthy relationships 🥰

What an October!!!!! Lunch out, parties, late night walks, parks, shops, clubbing, coffee shops, games, crafts, movies, walks, skittles, arcades, busses, (broken busses), laughs and friendships!
And……… the staff night out to the scare grounds 😳😳 who on earth thought of that!!!!!!! the dream team!

These two chaps went out last night!!!! Our staff supported them to a spot of night clubbing 🕺🎉 they had a blast and bumped into another gorgeous chap of ours!!!
