MixedDayMansDelight: The day started off with a sprinkle of snow, which I couldn’t really be bothered to with working in today.

Took the truck for its MOT , which it passed.

Managed to lock my keys in my truck while I was at the workshop.. annoying.

Went sledging after school with Theo, which was ace!

Penny made some lovely cat biscuits .. Nice.

WallersQuest: Blobbed on with a few walls this year. Finally finished the bothy/shed building.
Mostly been rattling around the village.
Looking forward to some walling escapes for 2026…

TruckMansReturn: The Ol’ truck has has a rough month or so. A double dip of a shafted turbo and 5 worn injectors.
Many thanks to for supplying all the necessary part for the job. And to for the spanner work and guidance.
Now the old T4 is flying again.. ace

TravelmansF..ckUp: Got a call a couple of weeks back asking me to rebuild a wall end fir a company who’s lorry had hit a wall.
They sent a photo, which looked like somewhere that I recognised.
So I agreed to do the work.
Today I turned up at where I thought it was only to find no damaged wall..
Turns out I didn’t know where it was, because the actual wall was 28 miles away in deepest Lancashire!!!!

To make it even more fun, the wall was built with mortar and as hollow as a hollow thing.
I blundered on and built the wall end dry…..
Won’t make that mistake again….. until the next time!!

Farm wall repair a valley over with . This beauty was a heady mix of horrid field stone and building stone.
Came out alright in the end… grand!

ShedmansDelight: finally tidied up a few odds and ends on the building I’ve been on with since time began. Everything has come together nicely and it sit just how I’d envision it being before I started.
A big thank you to everyone that was involved in helping me get this project completed.
