**Cacao Ceremony**
Sunday 21st September I’ll be holding a cacao ceremony, with guided meditations, breath work, kundalini and a sound bath 💞 snacks will also be provided at a gorgeous space in Glossop which is only a shortish pleasant drive from Holmfirth 😊 my co-host is the gorgeous Sally Waxman who I trained with for kundalini yoga. 🍃🌼Spring Equinox week🍃🌼
The spring equinox marks the start of astronomical spring.
The date is determined by the Earth's tilt on its axis as it travels around the Sun.
At the equinox, the Earth's axis is tilted neither towards nor away from the Sun, making day and night nearly equal in length. The equinox happens twice a year - in March and in September.
Wherever you are on the planet, the equinox occurs at the same moment. For those south of the equator, where the seasons are reversed, the event will mark the first day of autumn.
In 2025 the equinox is on 20 March at 09:01 GMT.

The concept of the spring equinox was celebrated by ancient civilizations such as the Egyptians, Greeks, and Persians, often associated with the rebirth of nature and fertility rituals.

Psychologically it is often seen as the start of warmer weather and a good time to get outside after the cold of winter.

Morning everyone ☺️ to let you know my next monthly sound bath at root studio in new mill is next Sunday 6-7pm and I have one space left, also my candlelit event which I do every few months is on Friday 7th February at root studio, 7-8.30pm, this includes chai on arrival, guided meditation, breathwork, gentle kundalini yoga and a sound bath - all by candlelight 🫶 these events are available on Gymcatch to book if any of you are interested or msg me for further details xx
