Bit of a real-life share today rather than a “business” post.
Living with Raynaud’s and joint pain from EDS means my hands (and a lot of my joints) can feel pretty miserable some days. Cold, stiff, achy, and sometimes so painful that simple everyday things become harder than they should be.
Recently I had a bit of a light-bulb moment.
When I was in college, we used to practise paraffin wax treatments all the time. Back then it was just another treatment we were learning — I never truly felt the benefits myself.
Fast forward to now… and it’s a completely different story.
With joints that can feel inflamed, stiff and painful day to day, this treatment has actually been a bit of a game changer for me. The gentle heat helps ease the stiffness and soothe the pain in a way I didn’t appreciate all those years ago.
It also made me realise how many of my clients deal with similar joint discomfort — whether that’s arthritis, inflammatory conditions, Raynaud’s, or just joints that feel sore and restricted.
When you live with joint pain, even small things that bring relief can make a big difference to your day.
Sometimes the treatments we learned years ago come back around and suddenly make perfect sense.
If you struggle with cold, stiff or painful joints, I completely understand how frustrating that can be — and this is one of those simple treatments that might just help ease things a little. 💛
